Right now, in 2014, Aus Music label boss Will Saul, 36, is the man. His UK-based tastemaking label is firing on all cylinders with recent quality releases from leading artists like Breach, Bicep, Dusky, Huxley, and Saul himself in the form of his latest deep-house bomb “Pedal Power.” So Midas is Saul’s touch—deep house and techno mixed with soul and melody—that the Englishman was recently selected to deliver the latest installment in the ever-popular DJ-Kicks compilation series featuring a who’s who from his imprint and dear friends. Recently, we got the chance to catch up with him and get a fresh tip sheet of his current club favorites.
