As you may or may not know, Electric Zoo, pretty much the biggest electronic music fest to happen on the east coast, is kicking off on Randall’s Island Park, New York, this Friday, August 31, and will carry on throughout the holiday weekend until September 2. The list of performers is rather enormous, with the likes of David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Skrillex, Tiesto, Diplo, Marco Carola, and plenty of other huge names all receiving top billing.

Over the course of the three days and four stages, more than 100 DJs, producers, and artists of all stripes will take over the island park for a labor-day-weekend party like no other. Last year, “It was like a backyard BBQ reunion for me,” 12th Planet told us about his experience. “It was fun to catch up with all of the guys from the circuit, and I can’t wait to catch up with the NYC homies, for real.” So what should we expect this year? “Nothing, but the usual in-your-faceness,” he adds. If it’s anything like last year, though, you can expect a few surprises when 12th Planet plays Saturday’s Dim Mak stage. Last year, he and Skrillex performed a surprise B2B set at the event.

Of course, no festival is complete without a host of afterparties, and Electric Zoo’s got plenty of them, which you can check out here. Grab tickets for the event, and see the complete lineup, here, and then download related charts from Fools Gold, Vagabundos, Dim Mak, and more on Electric Zoo’s Beatport DJs page.
