System owner and icon to LA event-goers Sam “XL” Robson has taken his visions of what bass can be and teamed up with fellow DJ and producer David Harrow to form his next musical manifestation, Pure Filth Sound. Their second release to come to us via Workhousedigital is anchored by their single with UK DJ, producer, and MC Jakes, and it comes packed with remixes by huge names from across the bass-music spectrum.

One such “Rhythm Killer” remix is today’s Track of the Day, and it comes from fellow LA production specialist Thavius Beck—a slightly subdued version that swells with dark keys and fluctuating drum work. An amazing track amongst amazing company.
