What a better way to kick off the new year than to announce the winners of Beatport Play‘s latest round of contests. Sam Sparro, Seven Lions, Lindstrøm, Freq Nasty, and DJ Dan have all picked the victors of their remix competitions, so check out the winning submissions below.

First up, Saarid (aka New York’s Mark Palgy) took top honors in in Sam Sparro’s “The Shallow End” contest. Check out his submission here, which netted him a $1000 Plugin Alliance voucher, a Sam Sparro prize pack, a Sounds to Sample Elements Library, and an official release on EMI Records.

In Freq Nasty’s “Not Givin’ In” Play contest, Chicago’s Benasis scored a release on Skint, a copy of Smithson Martin Emulator Pro, and the Sounds to Sample Elements soundpack for his remix.

House legend DJ Dan‘s Play contest afforded its winner a slew of prizes, including a release on Guesthouse Music, a SampleTank 2, iRig Keys, iGrand Piano, SampleTank for iOS, a $100 Style Flip voucher, and the Sounds To Sample Elements pack. The winner? DJ Blu, for his take on “House All Night.”

OWSLA signee Seven Lions offered up an official OWSLA release, $500 in Beatport Credits, a pair of AIAIAI TMA-1 DJ headphones, some Beatport x Hosa DJ cables, an Acrylick x Beatport t-shirt, and a limited-edition Beatport hoodie to the winner of his “Days to Come” contest, and we’re pleased to announce that I.Y.F.F.E.‘s drum & bass remix of the track prevailed the victor.

Lastly, nu-disco king Lindstrom‘s competition nabbed Irregular Disco Workers a Native Instruments Maschine controller, the Sounds to Sample Elements library, and an official release on Feedelity for this entry, which notably also took the Community Pick prize.
