Well, Happy Fourth, folks! We’ve successfully declared our independence and now it’s time to celebrate by lighting fires of all sorts—whether beneath a barbecue grill or the wick of a bottle rocket—and cranking our boomboxes to neighbor-annoying levels. In honor of this special fourth day of July, we’re happy to suggest to you four awesome new mixes to commemorate the occasion. So grab another piece of Texas sheet cake and turn it up.

In the midst of Sonar’s festivities, Richie Hawtin held forth at a rooftop party at Barcelona’s Hotel Diagonal, and has since pieced together this hour-long Fragments set from his time behind the decks there. A perfect one for what we hope is going to be a sunny day nationwide.

New Yorker Anthony Naples recently took the reigns for MoMA PS1′s Warm Up series, and for fans of old house and disco, this mix is just the ticket for the sun going down this eve.

XLR8R just celebrated its 300th podcast by enlisting Maya Janes Coles for firecracker of a mix. Grab it here.

In May, Miss Kittin visited our Berlin offices for a special Beatport Live session, and what a session it was—an hour of deep and funky house and techno. Save this for the end of the night.
