Every year, DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ Poll and others like it spark contentious debate across the internet. But what if there were a way to determine the “top 100 DJs” in a less subjective manner, not tabulating votes from fans but rather scanning the data of internet portals like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and SoundCloud, to determine who is—at least mathematically speaking—actually the top DJ in the world?

Websites Topple Track and JustGo have done just that, combining their expertise on the never-ending landscape that is the internet to determine who, according to the data, are the real “top 100 DJs.” The results—which in many places mirror the polls of DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, and the like—can be perused here via In the Mix. (Spoiler: Hardwell, Zedd, Afrojack, and Avicii all make the top 10.)
