The Movement 2013 festival in Detroit might be 333 days away, but they aren’t wasting any time finding out who fans want to see at the 14th annual Memorial Weekend techno event next year. The promoters, Paxahau, have just posted a thread on the Movement Facebook Page asking inviting you to answer the question—”Who would YOU like to see at Movement Detroit 2013?”

It’s a big request, given the excellent job Paxahau has done curating the event over the past several years, balancing crowd favorites like Skrillex (Beatport Stage, 2011) and Z-Trip (Redbull Stage, 2009) with Detroit legends like Jeff Mills (who headlined the Main Stage in 2007 and 2012), perennial favorites like Derek Plaslaiko (Made In Detroit Stage, 2012), and up-and-comers such as Joshua Harrison (who debuted in 2012 on the Beatport Stage).

So far, recommendations as diverse as Pretty Lights, Siriusmo, and Subfocus have made it into the suggestion box. But we know Beatportal readers will have some interesting picks for 2013. Post your suggestions on Facebook to be heard by Movement, and also paste them into our comments section so your fellow Beatportal readers can hear what you have to say too.
