In the spirit of choosing a big track for Miami, I can’t help but gravitate towards the Dirtybird Players comp—and Kill Frenzy’s and Nick Monaco’s “Black Girls White Girls,” in particular. Why? One, it’s just juicily awesome. And two, this track, with its many different movements, will pretty much slot into any set.

We’ve got “Black Girls White Girls” categorized as tech house, because at its outset, it thrums along at a steady-pumping 128, but before long, it drops into a laidback Amen section, shoots up to some bassy basement house with intricately programmed vocal cut-ups, and then pulls back into a liquid D&B bit before ending on the killer house bassline that rolls throughout. Kill Frenzy and Nick Monaco have got something for everyone here, and it’s sure to be a huge track next week.
